TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions are applicable when you as a consumer (referred to as “you”) make purchases on and use the website ryde-equestrian.com, referred to as “Website.” Ryde is stated as “we” or “us” and we mean Sakander AB, reg no. 559215-0261 registered on Västergarn Öninge 121, 622 30 Gotland Tofta, Sweden.

By making a purchase and using this Website you accept these terms and conditions, called “Terms”. Please make sure you have read and understood them before ordering.

Ryde cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We comply with the Swedish Act on Distance Contracts and Agreements (2005:59).

We have the right to amend these Terms, however the Terms that you approve at the time of your purchase will always apply to that specific purchase. Any changes made will be available in the latest published version on the Website, stated with date at the top of this page. Changes to the Terms will be effective from the time you accept the Terms, i.e., in connection with you making a new purchase or using the Website. Please keep visiting this page to stay up to date.

All prices on the Website are in SEK and/or EURO.

All prices displayed on the Website include the statutory value added tax (VAT) in accordance with applicable legislation. If an order is placed from a country within the EU local VAT is included in the price.

We reserve the right to conduct any price adjustments and obvious typing errors at any time.

We may offer promotions, discount codes, gifts, and other offers. Such offers are valid only for the period specified in connection with such offers and on the terms related to them. Offers cannot be combined with other discounts unless explicitly stated otherwise on the Website. You must fill in the offer’s discount code before completing the purchase to use it.

Promotional offers and discount codes cannot be redeemed after an order has been placed. Campaigns only apply to new orders placed during the promotion period.

Orders within the European Union are shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), meaning that taxes and duties are included in the final price.

You can pay for your goods in several ways, such as with Klarna, a valid credit or debit card ( displayed in the checkout. We offer PayPal as our worldwide payment method.

To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and not be under guardianship. If you are under 18 years old, you need a guardian’s approval for your purchase. You must also have a valid email address and a delivery address in any of our shipping markets.

For special orders or agreements where Ryde has agreed to direct invoicing as a payment method and payment is not received before the due date, a late interest rate is charged with reference interest +9.00%, and a reminder fee.

You collect the products you wish to order in your shopping bag using the “Add to cart” button. In the shopping cart view, you can review your order and remove any item you have changed your mind about, before proceeding to the checkout. When you place your order by clicking the “Proceed to checkout” button, you are making a binding offer to purchase the items in the shopping cart. Depending on your selected payment method, further steps may be required to finalize your payment.

Please note that a placed order on the Website is an offer and does not constitute a binding contract until the order has been approved by us. If we approve your order, we will send you a shipping confirmation email. This includes all relevant information about your order and its delivery. The shipping confirmation email is our approval of your order.

If we are unable to approve your order due to several reasons, we will let you know at the earliest opportunity after the automatic email confirmation has been sent, but naturally before we approve your order and send you the shipping confirmation. If we have already received payment for an order that is not approved by us, we will attempt to refund the applicable amount using the same method you used to make the payment.

DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

We will send you an automatic email confirmation that your order has been placed. For updates regarding your package, notifications will be sent to the mobile phone number and email address provided during the purchase. Ryde cannot be held accountable for any errors made while entering your information during the purchase process. Kindly review your contact details thoroughly to ensure accurate receipt of notifications.

We pack and send orders placed before 12 pm CET within two days. Delivery time for the chosen delivery method will be added. Within the EU, the delivery time is approx. 2-5 weekdays.

During promotions, campaigns, product releases or unexpected events the delivery times may be longer. If your order does not arrive by the estimated time of delivery, please contact Customer Service and they will try their best to help you.

The current shipping fees are listed on the Website.

Upon placing your order, the current shipping price will be displayed in checkout after selecting your country. Please note that Ryde holds no responsibility for shipping delays outside of Sweden.

Uncollected orders, that are not picked up by you, will be returned to us. We have then the right to charge you the cost of returning the order to us amounting to SEK 149

EXCHANGES & RETURN

You have 30 days to make a return when buying on the Website.

You have the right to cancel your purchase by notifying Ryde via email within 30 days of receiving the order. When making a return, the items must be returned to us within 30 days of when you received the order.

When using your right to withdraw from your purchase, you as a customer are responsible for the return shipping cost. Choose your shipping option and take your parcel to the nearest postal office.

Return costs are listed on the Website.

When we have received and approved your return, we will refund you for the product(s). We will not refund the shipping costs from the original purchase.

Please include the correct and complete item in the parcel, otherwise we cannot process your return. Returned products must be returned in unchanged and unused condition. This means that labels, Velcro fasteners and protective plastic must remain in the same condition as when the product(s) were delivered.

All returns must be sent back in their original packaging (mesh bags) and delivered in the same way as you received them for the return to be approved.

If the return is damaged as mentioned above, or demonstrates for example torn labels, dirt, hair, being washed, soiled, altered, or worn (other than to try the item on) Ryde has the right to make a deduction on your refund with an amount corresponding to the diminished value of the item. This deduction can amount to 100% of the value of the product if it is not considered to be in saleable condition. You will then receive a refund minus the reduction for the damaged product. Please treat the products with care.

We aim to make the refund as soon as possible after receiving and inspecting your items. You can expect your return to be processed at the latest within 14 days of us receiving the items back, or you are providing us with evidence of having items sent back. If you have not received your refund within 10 days, please contact our Customer Service Team and we will help you.

The refund will be made to the same payment method you used to place the order on our website.

COMPLAINTS & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

All products must be free from defects, meaning that they shall conform with the contract of sale, be fit for purpose and perform like any other products of the same type according to applicable consumer protection legislation. If you have a complaint regarding any of our products or services, please submit your complaint to us at hello@ryde-equestrian.com

We do reserve the right to deny a complaint if we consider that the product is correct in accordance with current consumer protection legislation. In the event of complaints, Ryde follows guidelines from the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). More information is available at the Swedish Consumer Agency. Customers within Sweden may submit complaints against us before ARN.

Customers within EU: If a dispute arises between you and Ryde and we are unable to resolve the dispute, you can submit a complaint to the EU’s online dispute resolution service (ODR). More information can be found via the following link http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

If you have bought your Ryde product from a retailer, you must contact the retailer directly for any questions regarding product exchange, warranty or complaints.

Purchases made on Website shall be governed by Swedish law, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or in connection with your

purchase shall be settled by the general courts of Sweden. However, if you are a resident of a country other than Sweden, your purchase may be subject to applicable consumer protection laws that give you additional rights. We adhere to applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation, and we have no intention of excluding or restricting such rights you may have through these Terms.

OUR LIABILITY

We are making all reasonable efforts to ensure that information on our website is accurate, complete and current. Information may sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Ryde is not bound by any such information if you realized or should have realized that the information was not correct.

The product information text describes the relevant product, and we do our best to display and describe its attributes. However, the color of the product on screen may differ from the actual color. Please note that pictures of the product on the website can include additional equipment not included. If you are not satisfied with the item you ordered, you may return the item.

In the event of an event beyond our control occurring, and which we are not able to overcome or anticipate, we will no longer have an obligation to fulfill our contract with you. That might include events such as war or danger of war, natural disasters, new legislation, labor disputes, government actions, major disturbance of public order, sabotage, extreme weather conditions, pandemic, epidemic, non-deliveries from subcontractors, unforeseeable costly circumstances, or similar events beyond our control that affect our ability to fulfill agreements and commitments.

All information that is collected is done in a responsible manner and regarding your integrity and the laws on GDPR.

We save the following personal information about our customers:

Orders: IP Address, Email, Person / ID, VAT Number, Address, Company, First Name, Last Name, Address, Postcode, City, Phone Number.
